Yesterday after my youngest daughter got home from school we sat down and watched the news. The weather reporter said by the end of this week we should be looking at a high of 60 degrees. We were both very excited since lately it’s been a high of 34. She looked at me and “mom, it’s going to feel just like summer compared to this weather!” I agreed with her too because I felt the same thing that she had just put into words.

I agree! Having grown up in Florida (this is my third winter EVER) I relish the ‘highs’ of 50-60 degree weather. I found it amusing (and insane) my first winter, the house was toasty warm at 72 degrees, while growing up we were quite chilly with the AC at 72! My how perspectives change!

That is it exactly. I was raised in California and lived in Arizona for the last 6 years. My perspective has definitely changed and I miss when 75 was cold.
